Original Abstract

Development of 3D modelling brings forth new technologies. One of the following technology is Rapid Prototyping (RP), which deals with building of prototype workpieces or assembly. The source of data for RP is a virtual solid model from any CAD system, which supports the solid or planar model design. Rapid Prototyping is a technological process the aim of which is to design a new prototype faster, then by using common technologies. Time required for prototype building is radically reduced and the production costs decrease.
