Original Abstract

Optical properties of structures with artificial molecules (AMs), composed of pairs of vertically connected QDs, were not yet sufficiently studied in details. Meanwhile, these structures have been presented as a principal element of quantum computer. Furthermore, the emitters of mid IR and THz regions can be designed on the basis of AMs, because the splitting energy of ground state in an AM is a function of the thickness of spacer and lies in the range from several meV to some tens of meV. Therefore the local optical investigation of these structures using SNOM is of a great interest.
