Original Abstract

This paper briefly describes one possible way how to determine the parametric subspaces leading to chaos in the general dynamical system. Our approach is based on the genetic algorithm (GA), where the fitness function can be the largest Lyapunov exponent or some metric dimension of the attractor. Some experimental results involving the so-called dynamical systems of class C are also presented and numerically verified.
