Original Abstract

Thermal properties of sewage sludge count among the most important input data for a calculation of characteristic parameters of heat exchanger for sludge preheating. The results of measurement organized for the purpose of necessary data obtaining are presented in this paper. Thermal dependences of following quantities have been measured: dynamic viscosity, density and specific heat capacity. The results of measurement are presented in diagrams and tables. Thermal dependences of mentioned quantities were measured for digested, mixed-raw and pasteurised sludge. Obtained data were used for research of heat exchanger "water-sludge" and flue "gas-sludge". Results of this calculation are presented in conference paper called Research and Development of Heat Exchanger "water-sludge".
