Original Abstract

Membrane and related technologies offer several feasible options of increasing quality of treated water. There is a certain know-how related to relevant engineering parameters, which can predict, with an adequate level of confidentiality, parameters of membrane permeates. However, a complex analysis of water reclamation is much more complex. It requires an extensive list of additional variables from the following areas: engineering, economics, and social sciences. The paper solves important sub water recycling sub problem, namely a choice of the optimal purpose of the recycled water. The following applications are considered: irrigations, municipal services, industrial reuse and supply water for households and recreation. A set of 104 fuzzy conditional statements is used as a knowledge base. Three specific queries are studied in details.
