Original Abstract

This paper deals with a particular communication technique, CPPM (Chaotic Pulse Position Modulation) which is using a chaotic pulse sequence as carrier of the binary information. The modern CPPM communication system is studied from the synchronization and noise resistance point of view as well as influence of chaotic map nonlinearity to chaotic behaviour of system under cosideration. The main research aim is the design of CPPM system and simulation of the corrensponding behaviour in Matlab and Simulink environment. Several simulations were done for distinct parameter’s values of CPPM’s modulator and demodulator. In the end, the multi-channel transmission has been simulated and the corresponding BER has been confirmed.
