Original Abstract

The preparation, characterization and photocatalytic activity of titanium dioxide thin films prepared on soda-lime glass is described. The various titanium alkoxides, number of coatings and spin-coating speed were testeed. The solution of 2,6-dichloroindophenol was used as a model compound in photocatalytic reactions. Subsequently, the antimicrobial effect of such prepared glass plates was studied by photokilling yeasts.
