Original Abstract

Cílem práce bylo analyzovat a kvantifikovat dopady rozsáhlé stavební rekonstrukce na funkci městské třídy, a to zejména na cílové aktivity obyvatel. Byly analyzovány vzorce prostorového chování osob a vybrané relevantní ukazatele komerčních provozoven. Na základě sady šestnácti časových vzorků v sedlových a špičkových časech byl prokázán značný negativní dopad stavby na fakultativní aktivity v prostoru ulice a nárůst její transitní funkce. Negativní dopad byl potvrzen ověřovací studií komerčních provozoven a jejich návštěvnosti a tržeb.

English abstract

The goal of the project was an analysis and quantification of the impacts o a large-scale reconstruction on the function of a city boulevard, with the focus on the residential target activities. Spatial behaviour patterns and selected relevant indeces of commercial establishments were analysed. A significant negative impact of the reconstruction on the voluntary activities in the boulevard space and an increase in its transit function was proven based on sicteen representative time frames. This negative impact was confirmed by a validation study of visitor turnout and revenues of commercial establishments.
