Original Abstract

S historikem umění Ladislavem Zikmundem-Lenderem, který je od loňského akademického roku odborným asistentem Katedry teorií a dějin umění na Fakultě výtvarných umění VUT, o jeho vztahu k Hradci Králové a hledání brněnských témat, o tom, co spojuje Brno s Berkeley, jak učit budoucí umělce dějiny umění, i o povinnosti uměleckých historiků být trochu občansky neposlušnými.

English abstract

Art historian Ladislav Zikmund-Lender has been an senior lecturer at the Department of Theory and History of Art of the Faculty of Fine Arts, BUT, since the spring of 2018. He specialises in 19th and 20th century architecture, mainly in relation to Hradec Králové. Nevertheless, he has also found an interesting theme that connects Brno with Berkeley. This autumn, his book Kalifornské sny (California Dreams) will be published.
