Original Abstract

The paper presents theoretically characterized models of an induction flowmeter and their experimental measurement. The models and related analyses meet the requirements of Industry 4.0. In general terms, the flowmeter facilitates non-destructive/non-contact measurement of very low flow rates, with the extreme medium velocity values ranging within v = 0.01-1 mm/s at a distance of 1-3 mm from the surface of the flowmeter body. The device finds use especially in instantaneous liquid flow measurement, assuming non-linear flow at the surface of the pipeline; relevant tests were conducted at v=1-10mm/s.

Keywords
