Original Abstract

Modern experiments in cardiology demand precise monitoring and control of the temperature of isolated organs and tissue. An automatic temperature control system is proposed and experimentally implemented using an infrared camera and computer and by applying Matlab-based software. The system is implemented to the traditional Langendorff apparatus connection of computer and operating the power supplyof heating elements and pump is able to provide fast and precise regulation of the heart tissue temperature.
