Original Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyse mechanical performance of cranial Ti-6Al-4V implant with Hydroxyapatite coating and to campare it with ordinary used PMMA implants and implants from another materials without coating (Ti-6Al-4V and PEEK) Finite element method was introduced as valuable tool for analyses in recent years. Cranial geometry was based on computed tomography dataset of undamaged skull.
