Original Abstract

Článek se zabývá možností nahrazení gravimetrických tížnicových odchylek topografickými. Za testovací oblast byl zvolen profil Velká Bíteš - Brno - Uherské Hradiště.

English abstract

The aim is substituting the gravimetric deflections of the vertical (DoV) with the topographic ones. The topographic DoV are possible to compute from open access digital elevation model. In contrast, gravimeric data are difficult to access in many countries. The profile Velká Bíteš – Brno – Uherské Hradiště was tested. It passes through the territory with the highest height anomaly in the Czech Republic and has 581 points. Topographic DoV were calculated at all points and combined with EGM2008 DoV. These combined DoV were compared with astrogeodetic and gravimetric DoV. The RMS er-ror of differences is about 0.6". The quasigeoid elevations above the ellipsoid of profiles points were calculated from available DoV and compared with each other. The RMS error of differ-ences is approx. 25 mm.
