Original Abstract

In the paper a comparative study of methods for the sensitivity determination in hybrid systems containing multiconductor transmission lines as their distributed parts is done. First the classical approach based on the modal analysis technique is discussed. This method leads to the computing sensitivities of eigenvalues and eigenvectors in the first step. Second a new straightforward method based on the chain/admittance MTL matrix conversion is shown. Its main advantage is that it can be generalized against the nonuniform MTLs if necessary.
