Original Abstract

The paper presents a novel method for the sensitivity calculation in linear hybrid circuits containing elements with both lumped and distributed parameters. In place of distributed parts multiconductor transmission lines (MTL) are considered. The technique utilizes the modified nodal analysis (MNA) method to perform the general description of the circuit, in conjunction with the chain/admittance matrix conversion to get the required sensitivities. After the frequency-domain sensitivities are derived, the numerical inversion of Laplace transforms (NILT) is applied to get the time-domain sensitivities. In this paper the extended method permitting to determine surfaces of sensitivities along the respective wires of the MTLs is newly presented.
