Original Abstract

The paper is focused on the cold gas dynamic spray process as a useful tool for additive manufacturing (AM) of free-standing parts and production of architectured materials especially. The idea is demonstrated on samples of dual metal composition. The computed trajectory of channels was produced via a CNC milling machine and subsequently filled with another metal by the cold spray process. The microstructure of deposition and interface was studied. These types of produced architectured materials are discussed as potentially new structural materials.
