Original Abstract

The article describes the method of measurement how efficiently the almost parallel beams, representing the solar part of daylight, pass through tubular skylights in laboratory conditions in comparison with simulation of the same skylight in program TracePro. The simulation yields result that are different opposite those obtained through laboratory measurement. Subject to comparison were straight tubular skylights with the diameter of 237mm and length of 2886mm and clear or rooved cupola.
