A capillary electrophoretic (CE) method using a short-sweep approach and laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) detection (ShortSweepCE-LIF) was developed for determination of Zn2+ and Cd2+ as complexes with highly selective and sensitive fluorescent probe FluoZin-3.
