Original Abstract

This paper deals with the analysis of 2 MW photovoltaic power plant affected by potential induced degradation (PID). To confirm the PID degradation were taken thermo images from the positive and negative pole of the string using thermal camera. The extent of PID degradation on individual PV modules was also determined by the I-V characteristic. As an indicator was selected PMPP maximum power point parameter. The measurement is supplemented by an electroluminescence images which confirm the extent of PID degradation.
