Original Abstract

In this paper the analysis of effect of eccentricity fault in squirrel-cage induction motor fed by frequency converter is presented. The motor current signature analysis as well as stray flux of motor were used in order to verify the capability of these techniques to identify the presence of different types of eccentricity fault in case of different types of supply. There were measured 4-pole and 6-pole motors. Obtained data is presented in the form of graphs and tables and the comparison of obtained results was carried out.
