Original Abstract

In the paper the scalar discrete equation with delay is considered. We prove that there exists a positive solution of the equation and give its upper estimation. The proof of the main results is based on the asymptotic decomposition and discrete version of Wazevski's topological method. Main results gives sufficient conditions for the existence of a positive solution and it cannot be further improved.
