Original Abstract

Vopros kompleksnogo razvitija vypusknikov universitětov javljajetsja aktuaľnoj problemoj. V nastojaščeje vremja vozrastajet potrebnosť povyšenija urovňa ich znanij i sposobnostěj. Dlja uspěšnoj intěgracii vypusknikov v praktičeskuju dějatěľnosť trebujetsja vseobjomljuščaja professionalnaja podgotovka. Toľko specializacii ne chvatajet. Optimaľnaja koncepcija vysšego obrazovanija predpolagajet, čto vypusknik budět podgotovlen k različnym ispytanijam v professionaľnoj i ličnoj žizni. Vsledstvije etogo neobchodimo moděrnizirovať akaděmičeskije plany, gibko reagiruja na izmeňajuščijesja potrebnosti sovremennogo mira. Vnědrenije sociaľnych nauk v učebnyje programmy těchničeskych speciaľnostěj javljajetsja odnim iz projavlenij dichotomii meždu universaľnosťju i specializirovanosťju puťom gumanizacii těchničeskoj akaděmičeskoj sredy. Doklad raskryvajet prepodavanije disciplin sociaľnych nauk na vybrannom fakuľtětě vo vtuze v Brno, znakomit s obščestvennymi predmetami i ich vkladom v krugozor studěntov, naprimer, kursy lekcij "Etika v bizněse", "Psychologija v dělovoj praktike" i dr. Soglasno etomu okazyvajetsja, čto studěnty v obščem i celom privetstvujut tě sociaľnyje nauky, kotoryje těsněje svjazany s soděržanijem vybrannoj napravljonnosti obučenija, čem tě predmety, kotoryje s točki zrenija studěntov meněje svjazany s buduščej speciaľnosťju.

English abstract

The question of general development of university graduates is the current problem. At present the need of raising level of their general knowledge and skills is increasing. For a successful integration of graduates into practice must be involved general development in universities. Just not only expertise. An optimal conception of university education supposes that graduate will be prepared for various activities in professional and personal life. Consequently, it is necessary to modernize the academic plans which are deeply responsive to the changing needs of the contemporary world. Integrating of social science subjects into the curriculum of technical education appears to be the one of solutions dichotomy between universality and technical expertise through humanisation of academic environment. The paper reveals the results of teaching of social sciences in selected faculty at Technical University BUT and it also introduces social science subjects and their contribution to students, for example Ethics in business, Psychology in firm practice etc. Accordingly, in overall, students welcome these social science subjects, which are more closely with their chosen specialised field than those subjects which are more different from specialisation from students’ view.
