Original Abstract

The article aims to evaluate today’s precise localization technologies with main focus on their positioning precision. The most precise outdoor and indoor radio localization technologies are presented and thoroughly evaluated by several tests in both environments. The article also brie?y summarizes the status of today’s positioning capabilities in both indoor and outdoor as well. For outside use, GNSS technologies are evaluated with focus on RTK while the indoor part is mainly focused on Ultra Wideband.
