Original Abstract

Computational approach to the suppression of vibrations in a machine tool via adding of compensatory dynamics in passive or active form to the system is proposed in the article. PID structure based controller with introduced simplifications for its further comfortable implementation is presented as the active form and it is numerically verified whether such kind of controller is suitable for this type of application. The grey-box model of machine with absorber is represented as a LTI with tunable parameters. There are proposed four different objective functions for optimization of the tunable parameters based on minimization of frequency response magnitude and maximization of the minimum negative real part of the frequency response.
