Original Abstract

This paper deals with the design of two types of permanent magnet synchronous generators – axial coreless permanent magnet generator and radial permanent magnet generator with built-in turbine. Both type of generators are supposed to use in small hydroelectric power plants with small slope and strong water flow. The paper contains information regarding swirl turbine, generators calculation and design including comparison of both type of generators.
