Original Abstract

This study focuses on the effect of temperature during the regeneration of the PID (Potential Induced Degradation) affected photovoltaic modules. Degraded PV module Evergreen ES - A - 205 is regenerated through a voltage potential of 600 V. The most affected PV cells are also locally heated to 80 ° C. The influence of temperature on regeneration rate is measured by the current-voltage characteristics and electroluminescence measurement after certain time intervals. Comparison of locally heated photovoltaic cells with the other locations of PV module clearly indicates an increase in the rate of regeneration at higher temperatures.
