Original Abstract

The article deals with the processing of sewage sludge by combustion. Specifically, it concerns the pyrolysis process, which is a process of thermal treatment of organic substances with the exclusion of oxygen, air and any other gasification agent. It is a physical-chemical phenomenon process in which the input material is exposed to temperatures exceeding the limit of its chemical stability and, as a result, macromolecular compounds are split down to stable low molecular weight products and solid residues. The final products of pyrolysis are pyrolytic gas, oil and solid residues.
