Original Abstract

Geiger-Müller counter was used for study of the relative specific activity of the total gamma and beta radiation of granite samples #1, #2 and #3 (red granite, travertine and grey granite). Obtained activity values were equal 32.7±5.7 Bq/kg, 52.2±7.2 Bq/kg and 21.2± 4.6 Bq/kg. It was shown that specific activity is meaningful for different types of rock.
