Original Abstract

Concrete is an effective construction material that has been used in the Czech Republic for many years. When we consider the oldest constructions that adorn ancient cities, a wide range of preserved concrete structures can be seen, which date back to the 19th and 20th centuries. In most cases, these structures are protected monuments and it is surprising that they are still in good condition, unlike some of the relatively new structures which need to be rehabilitated to the condition when they were first built. Only some structures were identified in the diagnostics that were characterized by relatively low-quality concrete, so the implementation of methodological or consequently normative procedures was very important.
