Článek prezentuje možnosti využití kombinací pojiv na bázi portlandského cementu a aktivních příměsí či směsných cementů v kombinaci superplastifikačních přísad na významných stavbách realizovaných v České republice v nedávné době. V podstatě odráží současný celosvětový trend alternace tradičního pojivového systému aktivními příměsmi většinou na bázi druhotných surovin, což přináší nejen ekonomické úspory spojené s pozitivním dopadem na životní prostředí, ale také ukazuje technologické pokroky a s tím spojené výhody. Mnoho těchto staveb by bez využití uvedených materiálů bylo mnohem náročnějsí realizovat.

The paper presents some possibilities of using different combinations of binders and different admixtures in constructions of prominent buildings which have been recently implemented in the Czech Republic. It basically reflects current global trend of alternation of the traditional binder system. This provides not only economic savings associated with a possitive impact on the environment, but it also shows significant technological advances and their major benefits. many of the designers´ requirements would be far more difficult to meet without the use of these alternative binders.
