Original Abstract

Bipolar memristive systems with threshold (BMST) are promising building blocks of a memristor processor for massive analog computations. In this work, special type of hybrid emulator of memory-type elements, the so-called memulator, is used for a hardware implementation of a programmable genuinely-floating BMST. It is demonstrated that such memulators can be used for mimicking basic cells for MIN/MAX circuits which are representatives of computational units such as fuzzy logic and classifiers, as well as for implementing various types of low-voltage low-power nonlinear signal processing.
