Original Abstract

This article deals with processing of 2D image having every pixel completed with spatial value acquired either by active sensor or artificially created. The goal is transformation providing generation of novel views from thus incompletely interpreted space. When viewpoint is moving, pixel coordinates of a reference image are changing differently and empty areas are appearing since the spatial information is incomplete. These empty areas in picture must be filled by suitable method; thus, novel views can be created only in small range without strong distortion of resulting images. A multi-view autostereoscopic displaying is the intended aiming field of use thus generated views, where a spatial effect is obtained by a disparity of slightly different images seen by appropriate eye.
