Original Abstract

In Electrical Impedance Tomography various optimization techniques are in use. For their successful application it is often usefull to calculate sensitivities needed in Jacobian matrix to accelerate particular iterative process. The paper presents and compares two methods of Jacobian determination, above all from the CPU–time requirements standpoint while the Matlab language is utilized. The first method results from a reciprocity theorem, the second one from the nodal–analysis–equations differentiation.
