Original Abstract

Security of multimedia data transmissions is a very topical problem. Common use of any symmetric encryption algorithm for securing audio/video data streams in real-time may encounter the problem of packet loss or reorder because of transportation by UDP protocol. With improper use of cipher this may lead to undecipherable information. This article deals with the method of solving that problem in context of real-time data transport protocols RTP and SRTP.
