Original Abstract

The first and second canonical form (FCF, SCF) of a generalized filter structure with a single input and single output (SISO) is known well in the field of a digital signal processing using the Z-transform. In the area of an analog signal processing, equivalents were formulated using the Laplace transform (LT). Canonical forms described by signal flow graphs (SFG) with multiple loops lead to several structures of high-order, integrator-based ARC filters implementing elementary linear operations (addition, multiplication).
