Modelový příklad ukázky malého smart regionu. Budovy s různou orientací vůči světovým stranám mají rozdílné energetické bilance. Přeměna energie z obnovitelných zdrojů využívajících slunečního záření je přímo závislá na orientaci a sklonu osluněné plochy. Analýza představuje porovnání energetických bilancí u budov s rozdílou orientací ke světovým stranám a možnosti transferu energie mezi budovami v době nedostatku či přebytku vyrobené energie.

Model example of a small demonstration of smart region. Buildings with different orientation towards the cardinal points have different energy balance. The conversion of energy from renewable sources using solar radiation is directly dependent on the orientation and inclination sunlit surfaces. The analysis shows the comparison of energy balance in buildings with differences oriented to the cardinal points and the possibility of energy transfer between buildings in times of scarcity or surplus of energy produced.
