Original Abstract

In vivo tracking of magnetically labeled stem cells by non-invasive Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is used as an up to date method of diagnosis after transplantation. The process in vitro is tested on the cell level using confocal microscope after addition of SPIO (Superparamagnetic Iron Oxide) nanoparticles into the cultivation medium that pass through the cell membrane. Nanoparticles with organic dyes enable effective tracking in organells inside MCS. The poster describes the nanoparticles localization using Matlab.
