Original Abstract

The present paper deals with sensitivity analysis of the influence of initial imperfections on the ultimate limit state of a slender steel hot-rolled beam IPE 220 under bending. The load carrying capacity of the member with length L=2,96m is studied. The theoretical analysis is based on a geometrical and material non-linear finite element method.
