Original Abstract

Chemical and physical processes taking place on active layers of chemical sensors are stochastic due to their nature and they reveal as fluctuation of measurable quantities. Paper describes the development of FPGA-based measurement system for polypyrrole-based QCM gas sensor which allows the exploration of these processes. The FPGA-based measurement with QCM sensor may enable to finding of interesting applications of QCM sensors and may also give useful pieces of information about fluctuation processes. Thanks FPGA the measured data may be fast processing.
