Original Abstract

The authors report on an analytical solution of the propagation, reflection and refraction of broadband electromagnetic signals within multilayered optical materials. The presented solution is processed in the Matlab program, which is suitable for a specifically oriented detailed analysis of a general problem. The presented comparison of the parameter changes is supported by graphical outputs of the algorithms. The algorithms created in the Matlab environment are verified by means of programs based on the finite element method, namely the ANSYS program. The response of the layered material depends on the thickness of each layer. The resulting algorithms show the response of layers with different thickness. The wave is sent from a source in the form of a single pulse.
