Original Abstract

The aim of this paper is the test of wireless localization modules nanoLOC TRX. These modules shall be embedded into complex electronic system placed on fireman helmet. Through static anchors placed in the environment and possibly with cooperation with other similar systems, information about the fireman location is transferred to the base station. The theoretical part of this paper shows several localization methods and techniques in the following, nanoLOC TRX hardware and configuration is briefly described. The performance and reliability of modules is measured in the real environment. The paper shows test results and evaluation.
