Original Abstract

Usage secondary energy products in the construction of road embankment is now firmly in place. Usage by-products especially fly ash from high-temperature or fluidized bed combustion, has its own ecological and economic benefits. This paper investigates the possibility of using other waste from the category of hazardous waste for roads construction, especially for the embankment, but also to the active zone. These are two hazardous wastes. The first one is kept under catalogue code 160303 and the second one under 120114. Hazardous wastes were modified by solidification/stabilization technology on cement bases with its partial substitution of secondary energy products. Physical and mechanical properties were examined in accordance with technological instruction 93, the Ministry of Transport. Environmental impact was assessed according to Decree 294/2005 Coll. on details of waste management and use of the ground surface.
