Original Abstract

The paper is devoted to an overview of methodology applied to processing and analysing ultrasonographic images, starting from simple two-dimensional B-scan data format conversion via restoration aimed at resolution and signal-to-noise ratio improvement up to segmentation and higher analytic procedures. Approaches to 3D and 4D ultrasonic imaging will be briefly treated as well.
