Original Abstract

This paper presents the partial results of the research focused on the study of the physical and mechanical parameters of cement-chip boards with the focus on the influence of the modification of their composition. For the replacement of the filler component – wooden substance, technical hemp was used. The modification of the binder was performed with the use of latent hydraulic or possibly pozzolan active ingredients. The influence of all variables was monitored through means of testing the basic physical – mechanical parameters. In particular, density, tensile bend strength and bend elasticity modulus. The emphasis was also placed on the analysis of parameters of used raw materials from alternative sources.
