Original Abstract

In recent years the project management has become a phenomenon which is inflected across all types of organizations, regardless of their size or focus. Classic models of organization management, primarily as a result of globalization and the increasing turbulence of environment, receding into the background and in their place are trying to force a new, modern organization management, using modern management tools. One of these tools is also project management. The organization has always been, is and will be able to successfully implement their projects, but it is important to remember that good project management is not easy, and this fact gave birth to the project management as a separate discipline. Project management in the corporate significance represents a set of recommendations based on best practices of other organizations in managing and coping with complex problems. The result of these recommendations is a number of comprehensive methodologies, which differ mainly in place of establishment or treatment, but their basic philosophy is most often identical and differ only point of view. Important components and characteristics of each project is the risk. Each project is unique and is associated with the uncertainty that accompanies projects. This uncertainty may generate risks in projects. Risk management is a key area of project management. In projects is not discussing only about one risk, but about many risks. Each project has more risks, and to increase the probability of project success, it is appropriate to manage risks in projects. In the Czech Republic is not common yet the using of risk management in projects, this fact emerges from reality, that there is great awareness and understanding of the issues of risk management. The aim of this paper is explaining the importance of the issue of risk management in projects and also describes the basic risk management techniques applicable in projects. The main contribution of the paper is comparison of different methods of risk management of the project and description the advantages and disadvantages of each method. Risks are part of each project, and when we found out that the project is not risky, it would not make sense to implement the project. Risks accompany the project in all its phases of the life cycle. In the pre-project stage there is analysed the risks, in project phase the risks are monitored and in the postproject phase the risk sis evaluated. The project team should keep this fact in mind and should not in any stage omit the project risks. Number of risk in any project is different, only the fact that the amount of risk increases in proportion to the duration of the project, or the longer the time between pre-project and project phases and based on the lack of experience of the implementers. The methods that are described and compared in this article are the following: the method RIPRAN, scoring method with map of risks, sensitivity analysis method, FRAP method, tree analysis and scenario planning method. In this article is these methods described, explained and compared.
