Original Abstract

The wavelet transform is a method for signals analysing. The main advantage of applying the wavelet transform to the detection of edges in an image is the possibility of choosing the size of the details that will be detected.. For edge detection in an image, a computer application has been created that tests the two-dimrnsional scene. The paper describes the experience of the wavelet transform to edge detection in images. The algorithm of searching for the boundary is also shown. The experience of the wavelet transform for the described problem are distinct.
