Original Abstract

12-floors panel building was disrupted due to non-uniform settlement. One half of the building was founded on the parent rock, the second one on a layer of sand and loess of thickness c. 6,0 m. The building is a precast panel structure with cast-in-place basement (cast-in-place box structure with panel ceiling) and combined load-bearing system. Non-uniform settlement caused failure of the load-bearing structure (load-bearing panels, joints) and partition walls. Detail investigation and measurement proved the non-uniform settlement about 100 mm. Carried out repairs: foundation sanitation (grid of micro-piles, injection of cracks of the cast-in-place basement and load-bearing wall panels), recovery of the function of statically unstable joints (additional external non-prestressed reinforcement), recovery of the spatial stiffness using external prestressed reinforcement (monostrands Lp 15,5 mm). In regard of faults of the sandwich cladding (these faults was caused by the settlement too), its repair was realised using additional anchorage of the external cover concrete plate to the concrete load-bearing part.
