Original Abstract

This paper presents the concept of an ultrasonic passive radar system for demonstration purposes. The main objective of this project is to familiarize students with the elementary principles of the passive radiolocation. Ultrasonic band allows low-cost indoor application of a passive radar system. In this way, it is possible to reduce computational complexity, time and space demands to minimal level. The principal benefit of ultrasonic band is no interference to the radio electronic devices.
