Original Abstract

In this paper, the Gaussian beam shaping method using the multi-aperture beam integrator concept is shown. Measurement of the relative optical intensity variance for the Gaussian and the Top-Hat beam is presented. The measured results for different values of atmospheric turbulence show dependence of the relative optical intensity variance on the distribution of optical intensity at the beam profile. Finally, the optimal shape for the beam irradiance profile is discussed in the conclusion.
