Original Abstract

This paper brings an overview on the derivation of passive RC networks capable to accurately approximate fractional-order two-terminal device in the frequency domain. The individual circuit topologies are designed, verified by using Orcad Pspice circuit simulator and briefly compared from the viewpoint of possible applications. The constant representing fractional-order is considered to lie within interval (0, 1) with decimal division. The proposed design procedures are straightforward in the sense of simple mathematical operations and minimal cogitations demands necessary to meet the expected results.
